David Fox started his career in funeral service in 1970 working with Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home in Amarillo, Texas.  He took a four year leave to serve in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.  David married Sharon in July of 1981 and together they owned and operated Smith-Fox Funeral Home in Panhandle, Texas.  Through the years they have worked in Marlin, Waco and surrounding communities.   

David is a Master Mason, Shriner and a member of the American Legion.  Since 1980 David has played the trombone in various Shrine, Christian and Dance Bands.  He also feels it an honor to play “Taps” on military services when asked.

David and Sharon are avid golfers and enjoy spending time with their two children, grandchild and English Bulldog “Ozzy”.
