We just learned about Dell's passing. She was such a wonderful human being and a surrogate grandparent to my kids as they were growing up in Fairfield. Her passing is a great loss to the community. I was honored to work side-by-side with her in the Fairfield History Club. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sue, Kathy, Teri Jo and their families.

Hearing the news of Dell's passing brought sadness because another of our community's matrons is gone. But what a wonderful legacy she left behind!! Mother enjoyed Dell's company so much. I appreciated her calling Mother if her lights weren't on early enough in the mornings. Thankful for her checking up on her. Praying for each of you!

I have such sweet memories of Dell. She always had such a positive smiling face and everytime I saw her and Anniece I had to laugh because they would ride all the backroads that were familiar from long ago and reminisce. But, they made sure they took their cell phone. We will miss you, Dell.
